1950's TELECASTER 5 Hole Scratch Plates – available in 13 colours – designed to fit Mexican & USA Telecasters 5 screw hole configuration with standard pick up arrangement. 3 Ply construction except where stated as Single Ply.
The single ply versions are not the thin, flimsy straight edge cut versions. They are the same thickness as the standard 3 Plys and they will not flex or warp over time and also feature a neater beveled edge.
Choose from;
Dark Brown Tortoisshell, Red Brown Tortoiseshell, Red/Black Tortoiseshell, Mint Green, Vintage Cream CBC, Aged Pearl, White WBW, White Pearl, Dark Grey Pearl, Black BWB, Single Ply White, Single Ply Cream and Single Ply Black.
The second main photo compares the Dark Brown Tortoiseshell (left), Red Brown Tortoiseshell (middle) with the Red/Black Tortoiseshell (right) to illustrate the differences. The Red/Black Tortoiseshell is generally darker and has no Cream patches.
When fitting ANY after-market Scratch plate you may need to make some small adjustments, filing and positioning to get the best fit on your guitar.
Use the 'drop down' selector to choose your colour.
May also fit most import Telecaster Style guitars, including Fender Squiers.
Some drilling of one or two holes maybe required on import style Telecasters due to the many differences of hole spacing by worldwide guitar manufacturers.
(Please note the Scratch Plate has no Pick Up mounting screw holes. If your guitar needs these, it is a simple case of drilling these in yourself. There are better ways to do this procedure so if you need advice or guidance please email for help)
NB If you are unsure of the fit on your guitar we can send you a paper template to try against your guitar first.
